We build software for Dutch law firms that deserve better than aging legacy packages.

Why LegalTime exists

The dominant practice-management packages in the Dutch legal market were built between 2005 and 2012. Their underlying stack — server-side rendering with jQuery, Django monoliths, no mobile-first UX — can't be modernized incrementally. Cloud software has been standard for accountants and notaries for years; the legal profession has been left behind. We think a firm of 3–20 fee earners deserves software that works the way people work in 2026, is transparently priced, and doesn't punish the user.

Who we are

LegalTime was founded by a team of lawyers and engineers with experience at mid-size Dutch firms and international SaaS companies. LegalTime is a product of Documentaal B.V., Velperplein 23, 6811 AH Arnhem, The Netherlands, with a remote-first team across the Netherlands and Belgium.

How we work

• Honest about what we can't do. Our product pages describe actual features — no roadmap selling.
• Dutch-language support. All support in Dutch, by people who know the practice.
• Data ownership stays with the firm. Full export any time, including on termination.
